About Us

This initiative is a response to the Strategic Research Initiatives program created by Renee Reijo Pera, Vice President of Research, Economic Development, and Graduate Education (R-EDGE). We are also grateful to Jane Lehr, R-EDGE Director of Office of Student Research for her assistance and guidance.

The initiative is currently governed by a 10 member proto-governing board. This is in anticipation of the first phase of the plan which calls for a Cal Poly Institute.
